CAROLINE

This summer has been a lot different for me as I decided to have the odd night in after nearly 7 years (14 if you count my repping days!!!) so I handed the 'Big Boss' stick over to Rob, mainly used to bash Dave over the head with (just kidding love you really!).

When it came to my last night I knew it would be sad and also I feared for my liver as Id seen many a flicks bar person ruined on their last night by their last night, I had a feeling karma was gonna get me! Ali arranged a girls night out to co-incide with it and invited me along to the meal she said i'd get to work whenever and said that it could Robs first task as manager to tell us both off!! When we eventually got there I couldnt not believe it, the bar was decked with banners with my name on, posters of me throughout my time in Flicks and loads of customers and friends with raised glasses! It was the greatest present I could have asked for, plus I was the guest of honour and didnt have to work, result! It really was a top night and John, Ali and all the staff did me so proud and I was truly grateful and thoroughly spoilt!

However they cant get rid of me that easily! Im still doing the odd karaoke shift to keep my hand in! Thanks to all the people who have walked past, pointed and said 'I thought you'd gone' cheers for that guys!

Nowadays Im teaching spanish and english which I love doing and keeps me on my toes.

I dont really go out on school nights however I did make an exception for the bars' 10th anniversary bash which was such a wicked night out, the atmosphere was fantastic and the hangovers the next day were worth it (although they didnt seem so at the time!)
